International Tourist Guide Day 2014 - "Fire and Flames” as a nationwide theme
The BVGD-Topic of the International Tourist Guide Day 2014 was “Fire and Flames” – which in German can also mean “to be all for something”. Numerous tourist guides of 85 BVGD member
associations have participated and offered a multifaceted programme to more than 10.000 guests. No boundaries were set to imagination. The tours were for free but many colleagues collected money for special social or cultural projects.
